Beit Matok is a fortified red dessert wine crafted from 100% Petit Verdot grapes, harvested late from select plots in the winery’s vineyards at an elevation of 700 meters in Moshav Mata. Following fermentation arrest via the addition of grape spirit to preserve the grapes’ natural sweetness, the wine was aged for 7 years in 300-liter oak barrels.
